BONUS: Arrive by 7:15 p.m. to get a sneak peek at Philharmonic musicians rehearsing the 10th symphony of Dmitri Shostakovich — rumored to be one of the major inspirations for John Williams’ beloved Star Wars score.
DIRECTIONS: Tour departs from the rear entrance of the Pikes Peak Center off Sahwatch St. in downtown Colorado Springs. (Just Google the main entrance at 190 S. Cascade Ave., then walk one block west. Rear entrance is left around the corner.) Please wear comfortable walking shoes, and feel free to bring cameras. Tour lasts approximately 30 minutes, exclusive of pre-tour musician sneak peek.
