Chris Vestal is Founder/Director of the Pikes Peak Makerspace and currently runs two companies: Concept Vision LLC & MotoMinded LLC .Chris started tinkering in the garage and restoring classic autos with his father when he was 11 years old. He restored and sold classic cars until leaving for college where he earned an AS in Mechanical Design. Chris got his start in 3D Printing in 1994 working as a forward and rear lighting designer for General Motors. In 1997, he worked at a Mechanical Engineering firm where he developed a curriculum & trained 30 designers to draw in 3D. Chris has also taught AutoCAD 3D classes. Chris founded (and still operates) Concept Vision LLC, a Digital 3D Computer Animation company, specializing in product visualizations. In 2013 Chris started MotoMinded LLC, a motorcycle accessory company, where he designs, manufactures (using 3D printers), and promotes ship products.

Chris started the Colorado Springs 3D Printing Community and the Pikes Peak Makerspace Communities, both on Meetup.com.
