Dr. MJ Cohen is the Director of Engineering Education for the Catalyst Campus for Technology & Innovation. MJ is a Colorado Springs native with over 15 years of software development and engineering experience in the aerospace & defense, manufacturing, and telecommunications industries and over 8 years instructing undergraduate and graduate level computer science.
 
Prior to joining the Catalyst team, MJ served for JDS Uniphase Corporation (JDSU), Siemens PLM Software, Inc., Lockheed Martin Corporation, Sanmina Corporation, and Data Schematics, Inc. Dr. Cohen’s areas of professional expertise include product lifecycle management (PLM), web-based manufacturing systems, telecommunications network services enablement, and geographical information systems (GIS). MJ has presented at academic and professional conferences in Colorado Springs, Dallas, Indianapolis, and New Orleans.
 
Dr. Cohen is a graduate of Colorado Technical University. MJ’s research interests include emergent database technology and cyber security.
